This paly deals with the topic of marriage and that how after all the education and modernization, parents still impose their will on girls as to whom they should marry. A similar situation faces the heroine Sila (Hira Zaheer) whose marriage is arranged to a complete stranger after she finishes school. This guy lives in Australia and is on good terms with her Aunt (Farida Raheel) who arranges this proposal and her parents, Humera Zaheer and Shehryar Zaidi, without seeing the guy agree to the marriage.
Shiraz (Humayun Saeed) arrives from Australia and he has the whole house eating out of his hands the minute they meet him. Where Sila is concerned, he behaves quite rudely to her and thus her apprehension turns into fear.
Sila finally refuses to marry him. The whole family threatens and blackmails and scolds her but Sila refuses to listen to anything. Her class fellow Babur (Yasir Nawaz) calls her up and tells her that he has always loved her but was afraid to say at first. Sila is touched for despite too much family pressure on her she has a way out if she chooses it. Will she bow down to her parents wishes or will she stand up for her rights? -by Gina
