A touching six episode serial that revolves around a cancer ward and the life of cancer patients, their fears, their little joys and how some people die only due to lack of money required for their treatment.

Seher (Javeria Jalil) is a young social worker, who moves around bringing hope and happiness in the life of cancer patients, knowing the fact that she too suffers from Leukemia and cannot be cured. Asad Bin Khalid (Humayun Saeed) is an aspiring talented cricketer whose whole life revolves around cricket and who dreams of becoming a world famous cricketer. His dreams are shattered when he finds out that he has Sarcoma (a kind of bone cancer) but is curable. For a man who is very self reliant and for whom cricket is life, this is very depressing and he refuses to accept this and even tries to run away from the hospital. Here Seher brings a new ray of light in his life and changes him completely and he gradually falls in love with her.

Since Asad's father (Shafi Mohammed) is very rich, he takes him abroad for treatment. Meanwhile Seher is not so well off and her mother, Safina (Ismat Zaidi) works day and night to collect money for her treatment. Also all the fellow patients have jointly tried to collect enough money so that Seher could be treated. Yet before something could be done her condition declines and finally the doctor (Badar Khalil) tells her mother that Seher's body is no longer reacting to any medicine or chemotherapy and all they can do is pray. On the other hand Asad recovers and writes to Seher that he is returning home. Will Seher be around by the time he returns? The play is beautiful and a perfect blend of comedy and tragedy. The whole cast has acted well and it is a play that should not be missed. -by Gina
